Your staff can also take advantage of obtaining CEUs from the National Certification Center for Activity Professionals. With the new regulations regarding the implementation of activities, structured and leisure , it is important to promote education on the value of activities and active living within the facility, center or home.

*Please note we offer '2' different books, and depending on the type of staff you are educating, you may wish to buy the specific book geared for that particular staff training.

The appropriate CD and other materials will be mailed with each book and program requested.

Increasing the Quality Life for the Older Adult

This course has been approved by the National Certification Council for Activities Professionals for 10 contact hrs # 25246-06.

Students/staff will be tested on knowledge of material and must receive a 75 percent or higher to receive a certificate. This course contains an optional 3 hr. practicum. You must complete the practicum to receive a full 10 CEU's. Students/staff will also be required to have a supervisor signed letter noting acknowledgement of practicum completion.

Appropriate for Activity Directors and Nursing Home Staff

who do not need AMA current procedural codes for work

purposes.
